Waseem Bava

Prior to being at the Bar, Bava completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) majoring in International Relations and Law and completed his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Witwatersrand. He completed two additional courses in International Commercial Arbitration and Construction Arbitration with the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa (AFSA) in 2018. He completed his articles of clerkship with a reputable law firm in Johannesburg in 2020 and thereafter began his pupilage at the Johannesburg Society of Advocates at the Island Group of Advocates in 2021.

Bava was admitted as an Advocated during April 2021 and completed his pupilage during December 2021 and thereafter took up chambers at the Island Group of Advocates
