Vicky attained her LLB degree with distinction from Rhodes University in 2008 and she completed an LLM degree in Commercial Law at the University of Cambridge in 2010 where she was in Newnham College. She also holds a joint BA Honours degree in History and Classical Civilization and a PGDHE, both from Rhodes University.
She was admitted as an attorney in 2012, and she lectured full-time at Rhodes University immediately thereafter. During this time she lectured International Trade Law as well as Company Law, Contract Law and Jurisprudence. She was also heavily involved in running the internal and external moot court programmes where she judged moot court competitions and coached student moot teams both locally and internationally.
Vicky joined the Johannesburg Bar and the Island Group in 2018, and practices in the fields of international trade law, commercial law, contract law and competition law.
